My little munchkin turned 3 and is a MAD Peppa Pig fan.  She requested a cake with, ” Peppa Pig, Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig and Georgie Pig – EVERYONE!!”  So, of course, I obliged!

When I started decorating this cake Tia was taking her afternoon nap.
She emerged from her slumber and walked into the kitchen. When she saw what I was doing, she squealed and then asked excitedly, “Mummy can I help you?” and without waiting for a reply quickly followed that with, “I’ll get my stool!”

My little girl stood on her little blue stool next to me for 4 hours whilst I rolled and cut and placed together the scene on the bottom tier.          4 hours… I think I have an assistant!!!

Each piece was hand cut and placed on the cake much like a puzzle, then details were hand painted on. A labour of love!

Her happiness, enthusiasm and her open bragging about her “Peppa Pig cake that my mummy made” made my heart glow with love. Cakes create happy, beautiful memories. This is why I love what I do.
Cake = Joy.
