Alex from Avie & Lulu styled a Valentines Day themed party and I was chuffed to once again be involved in one of her events. Hearts, ruffles, pinks and touches of gold set the mood for this gorgeous celebration  – which was also featured in the premier issue of  UK magazine ‘Cake!’ A great honour indeed – especially since my little ruffle cake adorned the cover! *squeal!*

Gold ‘ribbon insertion’ – with sugar ribbon – features on this cake with a blossom heart on top. Within lies carrot cake filed with white chocolate ganache.
