This event was for a very special little man, my dear friend’s baby Michael. His christening was a truly special celebration for his family and I was honoured to be able to fill his dessert table with cakes and sweets for our sweet Michael!

The christening was held at Melbourne’s Fenix Restaurant and styled by the wonderful Belinda at Styled by Belle. I’m sure you’ll agree that it looked absolutely gorgeous!

The cake was hand painted to give a soft, airy feel – Belle wanted the beautiful vintage styled hot air balloon to stand out so the cake reflected a lovely crisp sky – perfect for going up, up & away!

Vanilla sugar cookie clouds, home made marshmallows, fluffy vanilla cupcakes with a cloud of vanilla buttercream and cookie initials all featured on the dessert table alongside Belle’s beautiful display of lollies.
