My daughter plans her birthday cakes up to a year in advance – that is probably my fault!!
For her 5th birthday we had a craft party at the wonderful Petite Artelier in Melbourne – a great venue! Julia and her guests painted beautiful little birdhouses, so she thought a bird house cake was in order.

I loved making this cake! Sculpted from chocolate mud cake and decorated in fondant.
