I never tire of making these beautiful (if I do say so myself!) blossom booties.  I first made these for my eldest daughter’s Christening 6 years ago and have made them several times since. They certainly do make a statement up there on top of the cake and they are also a lovely keepsake. I still have Julia’s. They look as lovely as ever!  This is actually a two tier adaptation of that original design.

Hand made – painstakingly cut, tinted adhered and piped one by one.. but well worth the effort!
My blossom booties adorn the top of this sweet design whist shimmering whimsical flowers encircle the bottom tier.
Top tier is choc orange mud cake with the bottom a white chocolate and raspberry mud cake.
