I indulge in a class a couple of time a year if I can, I love to learn new techniques and meet some pretty amazing cake artists. Australia has become a real hot spot the past few years and we are attracting the world’s best to our shores. This particular creation was designed by one of our own – Sharon Wee.
I’ve loved her style and followed her work for a few years now – when the opportunity came up to take a class and learn this gravity defying technique – well, I couldnt say no. Could you?

Over two exhausting days we carved, ganached, built, covered, sculpted and decorated. Everyone did a fabulous job and we were added to Sharon’s long list of national and international students. The awesome thing about this design is not only the structure but all the details.

Naughty mice!  If you ever get the chance to take one of Sharon’s classes, do it. You’ll learn more than you expect!
