OP1a My husband and I had the honour of being little Amelie’s godparents last weekend. I found some adorable hand made owls from Red Stitch Designs via madeit.com.au. Super cute yes?

So, of course, I wanted to incorporate an owl in the design of the cake for this special occasion. Amelie’s mum LOVES cats and asked if I could perhaps include a cat somewhere. So, I got to thinking…hmmmm… an owl and a cat, an owl and a cat…hmmm – of course! (slaps the forehead) The Owl and the Pussycat!
