My mother in law is a lovely lady – I guess I’m one of the lucky ones!
I realised that I’ve never made her a bespoke cake so I set about to rectify that for her 70th birthday.
Two tiers of white chocolate & raspberry cake are covered with lemon coloured fondant. Stencilled lace features on the bottom tier and the top is crowned with a full open sugar peony. buds and hydrangea blooms. Heavenly! Needless to say, she adored it.
